Right now we are offering the choice between face-to-face and telehealth visits when appropriate and dependent on patient preference. We all know things can change as the course of this virus evolves so we will adjust as necessary.
We are doing our best to take care of our patients while still following guidelines set forth by the CDC and Department of Health. Our ultimate goal is patient safety. We truly appreciate all of your patience and understanding as we work through this unique and challenging situation. Please remember that we are still available by phone as usual, so if you have questions/concerns, call the office. The following still apply for the time being:
🔸If you are in need of medication refills, please call your pharmacy and they will send us a refill request. 🔸If you have a fever or any symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, DO NOT come to the office. Call us first. (https://www.cdc.gov/…/2019-n…/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html) 🔸You may bring 1 healthy support person (>16 years old) with to your office appointments. You and your support person must wear a mask. Skype or Facetime may also be used during appointments and/or ultrasounds. No recording. 🔸PREGNANT WOMEN: Unless you have an emergent need, you will no longer check in through the Emergency Department. You will use the West Entrance in the front of the hospital. A map with check-in instructions is located on our website under 'Patient Education,' Please review this. 🔸Pregnant women will be allowed 2 healthy support people during their hospital stay. All are asked to bring/wear masks. 🔸We are still delivering babies as usual. ❤️💙
